Calcined mica is a process of high-temperature calcination that removes some of the crystalline water, resulting in a lower moisture content and superior properties compared to natural mica. Then reinforced with fiberglass cloth on one or both sides, and bonding with silicone resin, can be slitted into various tapes after coating, baking and drying.
Has the following characteristics
• Excellent insulation performance at high temperatures. Calcined mica tape can ensure no breakdown within 90 minutes at temperature of 850 ℃~950 ℃ and voltage of 600V~1000V.
• It has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, fire resistance, acid and alkali resistance, corona resistance, and radiation resistance.
• Good tensile strength, good flexibility, smooth wrapping, and high tensile strength when wrapping wires and cables at high speeds.
• The finished product is dry and adhesive free.
• Calcined mica tape is widely used for insulation protection of wires, cables, motors, Car battery link copper bar and transformers.
